Player-made: Infinity Kingdom Immortal Upgrade GuideⅡ

05/19/2020

Many new Lords and Ladies have joined Infinity Kingdom during the open beta test. We have received a lot of enthusiastic feedback and sometimes guides from our players. Here we have LordLEO from the beta server sharing his work.

Academy

You can unlock the Academy when your castle reaches level 10. My research order was: War > Immortals > Defense > Production, because I like to play more aggressively. You should research Defense and Production technologies first if you have a more peaceful style. When you research War technologies, focus on the troops commanded by the best Immortals you have. But it is always good to upgrade the Bowmen troops, as all back line Immortals can command Bowmen troops. Only start to upgrade the Shieldmen, Spearmen and Cavalry troops if you have at least 2 good front line Immortals. You will not have to worry about any fights any more after you have built up a solid formation this way. You can then move on to other technologies.

Skills (Tower of Knowledge)

The Tower of Knowledge unlocks at Castle level 10, and you need Immortal Fragments to unlock battle and utility skills. Remember that the 2nd and 3rd Immortal skill slots are unlocked when reaching 3 stars and 7 stars for an Immortal, so you should not waste your fragments here in early game. You do not want any skills that you cannot use, plus the skill improvement is not significant for low-level skills. It is better to save your fragments to exchange for Soul Crystals, to buy items at the Market, or to develop Immortals. I recommend giving the battle skills for stronger and rarer Immortals. The non-battle skills should be better served when equipped on Uncommon and Rare Immortals. Their fragments are easier to get and they are more suitable for production and construction positions.

Immortal Combinations

Let us talk about Immortal Combinations:

Here is the formation I built without spending a dollar. The early formations based mainly on the Immortals you get from the Hall of Immortals. I suggest you spend your Gems to first reach VIP 6 (VIP 6 grants you an extra builder, a nice construction boost). Then try your luck with the remaining Gems in the Hall of Immortals. You should look for a good Magical Immortal for your back line as damage dealer, and two good front line Immortals commanding the same troop type to make the best use of your troop upgrades. You should then focus on increasing your construction speed to secure an advantage for the long run. By the way, well-upgraded Elite Immortals work as well as Epic Immortals, so it is not a big deal if you could not get any Epic from the Hall.

Above are my suggestions as a non-paying player, feel free to contact me if you have anything to discuss!
