New players all must learn the functionality of each building inside their city. And today, we will take a look at them together. We will start with production buildings like Farm, Lumber Mill, Quarry, etc., then move to the military buildings like Bowmen Barracks, Shieldmen Barracks, hospitals, etc.
Farm
Farms can produce Food, and Food is often used to train troops or as research materials. Upgrading the Farm level will increase its production and storage capacity. The produced Food must be collected manually. And when the Farm reaches its storage capacity, the production will be paused. So make sure to collect the produced resources in time!
Lumber Mill
Lumber Mills can produce Wood, and Wood is used as materials for construction, troop training and fortification manufacturing. Wood is also the key research material for Immortal related technologies. So try to save up as much Wood as possible if you want to focus on the Immortal upgrades and remember to collect it from the Lumber Mill in time.
Quarry
Quarries unlock at Castle level 3. You can get Stone from the Quarries, an important resource used to train troops and to manufacture fortifications. Stone is also the key research material for Defense related technologies. So do not forget to check your Quarries regularly if you need them!
Smeltery
Unlocking at Castle level 4, the Smeltery can provide you with Iron. Iron is an important material for construction, troop training and fortification manufacturing. Iron is needed for most War related technologies. So if you plan to research those technologies first, make sure you have enough Iron.
