Player-made: Infinity Kingdom Immortal Upgrade GuideⅠ

05/18/2020

Many new Lords and Ladies have joined Infinity Kingdom during the open beta test. We have received a lot of enthusiastic feedback and sometimes guides from our players. Here we have LordLEO from the beta server sharing his work.

After years of harassment from the Gnomish mechanical armies, the three human kingdoms are at the edge of total destruction. To save humanity from its doom, men have to seek the help of the alchemists. The alchemists opened the “Gate of Truth” with a special transmutation circle. Mighty Immortals were summoned from a different world to help humanity fight against the Gnomes.

Summon Immortals and Immortal Qualities

You can use the Philosopher Stone to summon Immortals in the Hall of Immortals or you can combine Immortal fragments to get them. Immortals have 4 quality levels: Uncommon, Rare, Elite and Epic, with the Immortal strength increasing accordingly.

The 2 pictures above show 2 defensive Immortals: Lancelot (Rare) and (Pierre Terrail (Uncommon). You can easily tell that the rare Immortals have higher attributes than uncommon ones. Higher quality Immortals also gain more attribute increases from reaching a new star level.

Immortal Types

1. Defensive: Immortals that are suitable for drawing enemy attacks in the front line. Commanding troop types: Shieldmen, Spearmen, Cavalry.

2. Offensive: Immortals that have powerful physical attacks. Commanding troop types: Shieldmen, Spearmen, Cavalry.

3. Ranged: Immortals that should be placed on the back line for powerful ranged attacks. Commanding troop type: Bowmen

4. Magical: Immortals that should be placed on the back line for powerful magical attacks. Commanding troop type: Bowmen.

5. Support: Immortals that should be placed on the back line for heals. Commanding troop type: Bowmen.

Immortal Upgrades

Immortal Development and Upgrades

Upgrading an Immortal will increase his/her attributes and the number of troops they can bring. You must collect 6 required items to develop an Immortal to the next level. You can get the development items from the Well of Time stages.

Tips: If you are stuck with a stage, you can always use your unused Stamina Points to Raid the previous stages for development items.

You can also get EXP rolls from the stages, I recommend you save them for your top 4 best Immortals.

Equipment

You can gear up your Immortals to increase their attributes and make them more powerful in battle.

Here are the sources to get new equipment:

Find and defeat the highest level possible Gnome units on the map to get Enchant Stones and equipment pieces.

Tips: I recommend you send your best troops to fight the Gnome units, and the weaker troops to gather resources. This way you can keep your resources income while searching for new equipment pieces.

Collecting 4 equipment pieces of the same set will give you an attribute bonus. Now let us move on to equipment combination:

1. I recommend equipment sets that improve critical chance for your magical Immortals. They should already have higher critical chances, so the crit equipment will make them more powerful in battle.

2. I recommend sets with Physical Damage bonuses for Ranged Immortals. Their critical chances are lower, but they can be a steady damage dealers on the back line.

3. Equipment with healing bonuses are great for Support Immortals.

4. I recommend damage reduction equipment for front line Immortals as they are supposed to protect the units on the back line. There are 2 types of damage reduction equipment: Magical Damage reduction and Physical Damage reduction. I suggest you give magical damage reduction to Strength based Immortals and physical damage reduction to Intelligence based Immortals. This way you can reduce the damage you received evenly from enemy physical and magical attacks.

5. Equipment is also categorized as Magical, Offense, Ranged, Defense and Support. So if you are not sure which equipment to pick, you could always choose based on the equipment category.

Development

Developing an Immortal will increase his/her attributes by a percentage and upgrade their skill. Reaching 3 stars and 7 stars unlocks the 2nd and the 3rd skill slot accordingly. You can then equip new skills you unlock in the Tower of Knowledge to your Immortal.

You need Immortal Fragments to develop your Immortals. You can get them from the Hall of Immortals, the Market, Arena Shop and Alliance Shop.
