V2.7.2 Patch Notes

With the cicadas singing in August, we proudly present this grand update. The factions of Wind, Fire, Water, and Earth, the powerful Federation system, and the mysterious altars scattered across the distant northern reaches.... Have they brought you a fresher experience? A wave of optimizations and adjustments floods in with all update details in these patch notes. Read on to learn more.

New Features

1. Customizable Alliance Rank Names

R6 and R5 members can customize Alliance Rank Names, with a character limit of 2-20 characters.

2. New Tower of Knowledge Skills

Four new skills added to the Tower of Knowledge: [Chaos Storm], [Blood Frenzy], [Psionic Tide], and [Time to Shine].

3. Skip Summoning Animation at Hall of Immortals

When this function is checked, the summoning animation will be skipped.

4. Territory Teleportation VFX

Add New Territory Teleportation visual effects, displaying unique and cool effects during advanced relocations. Some relocation effects come with special attributes, effective upon use. City relocation visual effects can be obtained through packs and events. (Release time TBD)

5. Preparation Season World Buff

During the Preparation Season, following the first Contention of Relics, all players will gain a world buff that provides bonuses for building, technology, and gathering.

Optimizations for New Legion of Frostborne

1. Optimized the locking Mechanism of the top eight alliances in each region

The top eight alliances in each region will be locked based on their highest historical power, spanning from the war phase of the previous season to the matchmaking phase of the current season. Up to two alliances can be locked per server.

2. Federation

1) Time Display: Federation members can view each other’s time required for building and repairing their Thermal Towers. They can also view the time required for dismantling the Thermal Towers of other alliances.

2) Thermal Towers Dismantling: Alliances within the same Federation can dismantle the Thermal Towers of other alliances/Federations together.

3. Various Event Optimizations

Build Up Strength will be renamed to Building Steam, with new PvP tasks added to the event tasks.

4. Alliance Internal Personal Legion's Mark Rankings

During Legion of Frostborne, alliance members on the Legion of Frostborne map can view their personal Legion's Mark ranking via the alliance interface. The rankings reset weekly.

Note: This ranking is not displayed if Legion of Frostborne is not active or the player is not on the Legion of Frostborne map.

5. Interface Optimizations

1) Faction Selection: After selecting a faction, tap the "View Faction List" to view the alliance list by faction.

2) Faction Information: The top right corner of the map will now show the reputation and city points associated with each faction.

Other Optimizations

1. Active Events Adjustments

1) Challenge Events: The original Daily Active Events, Gnomes Hunt, Arms Race, and City Building Challenge Events will be integrated into unified challenge events that last five days. Additionally, event rewards will now include artifact schematic.

2) Expel Rebels: Event rewards now include random Immortal Fragments.

3) King of the Hill: Milestone rewards now include Immortal Fragments.

2. The Golden Path Reward Adjustments

3) Rewards above level 50 have been adjusted, and Merit Chests now yield 30 Merit Coins.

4) Random Immortal fragments of the five elements have been added to the Shop.

3. World Open Status Optimization

The conditions for the first relocation into the server has been changed from "the World History reaches over 90 days" to "the World's Preparation Season has ended" (i.e., the World History reaches over 50 days).

3. Data Optimizations

1) Private Chat: Retain the last 10 contacts, with the last 30 messages for each contact.

2) Mail: Retain 50 mails per type, but 100 mails for system messages (e.g., announcements, community social media rewards, etc.).

3) Battle Reports: Retains 50 reports per type.

Note: Please save important mails in time lest you lose them.

4. Anubis Battle Report Statistics

Optimized the damage statistics in Anubis battle reports to reflect Bleed effects.

5. Adjusted Gnomes’ Attack Marching Route Color in Malena's Ambition

Adjusted the march route color of Gnomes’ attacks to make them clearer and easier to identify.

Balance Adjustments

1. Battle Duration Adjustments

The duration of a single battle has been extended from 90s to 150s.

2. Troop Losses Algorithms Adjustments

Due to the extended battle duration, we adjusted the algorithms for soldier deaths and serious wounds, reducing player troop losses in battles.

3. Artifact Forge Probabilities

Increased the probability of forging artifacts with special attributes by 10%.

4. Academy Technology Adjustments

1) Troop Technology: Reduced the resource cost for troop training from -10% to -15%. (Affecting 16 Academy Technologies)

2) Defense Technology: [Iron Body]: Reduced the received damage of Garrison from -10% to -5%.

5. Immortal Skill Adjustments

1) Louis IX [Howling Thunder]: Added a passive effect that increases normal attack speed by 20%.

2) Genghis Khan [Arrow Storm]:

Inflicts Physical Damage (Damage Rate 440% → 500%) to all enemies, and causes Wound–enemies cannot be healed for 10 seconds.

3) Baldwin IV [Hurricane]:

Summons Tornado that deals Magical Damage (Damage Rate 600%) to 1 random enemy troop, and increases the Magical Damage it receives by 30% for 6 seconds. After hitting a target, Tornado has a chance of splitting into two which will continue to attack nearby enemy troops. A tornado can split up to 2 times (Chance of the first split is 75%, Chance of the second split 25% → 50%).

4) Margaret I [Winter Passage]:

Inflicts physical damage on enemy teams in a fan-shaped area in the front (Damage Rate 500%). If the target is affected by Chill, deals additional physical damage (Damage Rate 300%). If the target is affected by Silence, reduces their physical damage by 20% for 6 seconds. → Inflicts physical damage (Damage Rate 500%) on all enemies. If the target is affected by Chill, deals additional physical damage (Damage Rate 300%). If the target is affected by Silence, reduces their physical damage by 20% for 6 seconds.

6. Tower of Knowledge Skill Strength Adjustments

1) [Flame Protection]: Every 12 seconds after the battle starts, you have a 45% → 55% chance to gain Fire Protection for 12 seconds, increasing Crit Rate by 20%. When the skill is in effect, [Fire Immortals Only] critical damage increase by 70%.

2) [Wind Protection]: Every 12 seconds after the battle starts, you have a 45% → 55% chance to gain Wind Protection for 12 seconds, increasing dodge rate by 25%. When the skill is in effect, every time [Wind Immortals Only] helps you dodge an attack, grants self and another random allied team a shield that absorbs all damage (Absorb Rate 120%).

3) [Lightning Protection]: Every 12 seconds after the battle starts, you have a 45% → 55% chance to gain Lightning Protection for 12 seconds. The normal attacks you land will have a 40% chance to stun the enemy for 3 seconds. When the skill is in effect, every time a normal attack by [Lightning Immortals Only] hits a stunned target, increases the damage of your next ultimate skill by 30% for 6 seconds.

4) [Water Protection]: Every 12 seconds after the battle starts, you have a 45% → 55% chance to gain Water Protection for 12 seconds, reduces the critical damage you take by 70%. When the skill is in effect, [Water Immortals Only] every time you receive a critical damage, you will be healed (Recovery Rate 150%).

5) [Earth Protection]: Every 12 seconds after the battle starts, you have a 45% → 55% chance to gain Earth Protection for 12 seconds, and you have a 30% chance to remove Silence and Root from yourself and obtain 200 Energy. When the skill is in effect, every time [Earth Immortals Only] restores 100 Energy, increases the damage of your next ultimate skill by 1.5%.

6) [Storm Strike]: Every normal attack has a 35% chance to cause magical damage (Damage Rate 100% → 150%) to all enemy units.

7) [Infinite Firepower]: After the battle starts, there's a 50% → 60% chance to deal magical damage to all enemies every 3s (Damage Rate 400% → 350%) and increases self Energy Regen Speed by 20% for 3 seconds.
