New Legion of Frostborne - Beta Version

Below are the new features and optimizations in the updated version of the Legion of Frostborne. The attack rules for Thermal Towers, Fog, Cities, and Checkpoints, as well as the recovery of garrisons, remain unchanged.

Please note: This season of the Legion of Frostborne is a trial. The matchmaking system and faction assignments may undergo modifications based on testing results.

Opening Requirements

The new Legion of Frostborne will open during the Conquest Season. Alliances ranked at level 4 or higher and Lords at level 15 or higher can head to the Frozen Realm to participate in the Legion of Frostborne.

Matching System

Server Matching

1) As the ultimate challenge of Legion of Frostborne, the Conquest Season will match opponents based on various factors such as Lord Power, historical battle performance, Lord activity, and past participation in Legion of Frostborne. This ensures fairness in grouping rules across different strength levels.

2) After entering the Conquest Season, a seasonal loop mode will be initiated. After each round of the Conquest Season ends, a new round of the Conquest Season will begin.

Faction Assignment

After server matching, initial faction assignments will be made. The four factions emerging from the Blizzard present abundant opportunities for teamwork and battles.

1) Faction Selection: Faction selection will be available 48 hours before the battlefield opens. The top eight Alliances in Alliance Power within the same division will be automatically assigned a faction, while other Alliances' spawn areas are decided by Alliance Leaders. Once the Alliance Leader has made a selection, all Lords within the Alliance will enter the Frozen Realm aligned with the chosen faction.

2) Faction Mark: The system will lock the alliance faction choices 24 hours before the start of battle. Lords within the Alliance will be marked with the same faction mark as the Alliance. If an eligible Alliance has not chosen a faction, the system will automatically assign one.

3) Exceptions: If an Alliance qualifies to enter the Frozen Realm after the battlefield opens, it will be marked with the faction chosen by the Alliance Leader. If the Alliance Leader does not have a faction mark, the system will automatically assign one. Lords without a faction mark who join the Alliance after the battlefield opens will be directly marked with the same faction mark as the Alliance.

4) Once the faction assignment option is opened, you will be restricted from server migration until the end of the war.

Federation System

Establishing and maintaining diplomatic relations is crucial for the survival and expansion of Alliances. In the new Legion of Frostborne, the Federation system will replace friendly Alliances, playing a more powerful diplomatic role, while the hostile Alliance settings remain unchanged.

Forming a Federation

1) Forming a Federation: The Alliance Leader can establish a Federation by consuming Gems. A Federation can be composed of up to 4 Alliances. The leader of the Alliance that forms the Federation will automatically become the Federation Leader. The Federation Leadership can be transferred.

2) Formation Requirements: Alliances joining the same Federation must belong to the same faction.

Federation Rules

1) Alliances of the same Federation can attack cities/checkpoints, garrison cities/checkpoints/Thermal Towers, donate to the garrison, participate in rallies, defend players within the Federation, and attack players from other Federations together.

2) Players within the same Federation cannot attack each other or each other's Thermal Towers.

3) Checkpoints between Federations can be interconnected, and city benefits as well as city specialties are shared. All Federation players participating in a city siege can obtain the city's first occupation rewards.

4) If multiple Alliances of the same Federation participate in the attack on a city/checkpoint, the city/checkpoint will belong to the Alliance that defeats the last troop of the city garrisons.

5) City's First Occupation Points are distributed to alliances according to the percentage of their damage dealt. City's Continuous Occupation Points belong to the Alliance that owns the city.

Weather System

The weather in the Frozen Realm is unpredictable. The weather in each province may vary. Lords can check the current weather of each province in the Frozen Realm through the weather panel, and the system will forecast the next day's weather in advance. Please prepare accordingly.

1) Weather Types: Weather is categorized into normal weather, abnormal weather, and special weather. Abnormal and special weather will have various impacts on the battlefield. Specific impacts can be confirmed on the weather panel.

Cities and Checkpoints

1) Cities: City's First Occupation Points and City's Continuous Occupation Points are introduced. City's First Occupation Points are distributed to alliances according to the percentage of their damage dealt. City's Continuous Occupation Points belong to the Alliance that owns the city.

2) Checkpoints: Introduced faction checkpoints. The Ice Wall checkpoints in each faction area can only be occupied by Alliances of that faction.

Alliance Tactics

Alliance tactics can provide powerful battlefield support to all Alliance Members. Resources gathered by Alliance Members in the Frozen Realm will be converted into Tactical Points according to a certain ratio. The Alliance can activate basic tactics and special tactics using Tactical Points.

1) Basic Tactics: Basic tactics are divided into military tactics, expansion tactics, and defense tactics. Different types of tactics have different functions. Please make full use of the tactics to create more possibilities on the battlefield.

2) Special Tactics: Special tactics are similar in type to basic tactics but are more powerful. When used properly, they can change the course of the battlefield. The activation of special tactics is limited. Each activation costs a large amount of Tactical Points, so use them wisely.

New Events

To help Lords better adapt to the battlefield pace, we will introduce time-limited events based on the Legion of Frostborne's progress. Time-limited event rewards include resource supplies, special buffs, and more. We will provide detailed descriptions before the event starts.

Victory Conditions

The ultimate goal of the Legion of Frostborne remains to combat the cunning Gnomes and destroy the Gnome Capital. While the battles have become more challenging, the rewards have also become more lucrative.  In the new Legion of Frostborne, victory will be determined by the Personal Legion’s Mark, alliance points, and faction points, with rewards distributed accordingly.

1) Personal Legion's Mark: Personal Legion's Marks are obtained through earning honor, gathering resources, defeating Gnomes and Gnome Bosses, constructing Thermal Towers, demolishing enemy Thermal Towers, destroying other lords' territory prosperity, forcing other lords to teleport away, defeating city and checkpoint defenders, dismantling city and checkpoint walls durability, and donating resources to restore city and checkpoint defenders in the battlefield. Your personal performance on the Legion of Frostborne battlefield will ultimately be evaluated through the Legion's Mark.

2) Alliance Reputation: Alliance Reputation consists of two parts: the cumulative Personal Legion's Marks of Alliance Members (automatically converted to Alliance Reputation when Lords earn Legion's Marks), and City's First Occupation Points and City's Continuous Occupation Points earned by the Alliance. The total of these two parts will be converted to Alliance Reputation for final evaluation.

3) Faction Reputation: Faction Reputation is the total Alliance Reputation of all Alliances belonging to that faction.

Victory Rewards

The Alliance with the highest Faction Reputation can draw from the "Divine's Prophecy." Guaranteed to obtain Manco Cápac or Himiko after 20 draws. (Subject to in-game availability)

The Alliance with the second highest Faction Reputation can draw from the "Divine's Will." Guaranteed to obtain Theodora or Tomyris after 20 draws. (Subject to in-game availability)

All other Alliances of different factions can obtain a random Holy or Shadow Immortal after 20 draws.
